Ps3 connected to the laptop to the dsl? I can't obtain an ip address! Help!?
I tried using erthenet cable to the ps3 and the laptop. The laptop had a wi-fi in it and it connects to the dsl fine upstair but when I do a connection test on my ps3, it couldn't obtain an ip address! Please i really want to play online with good connection! I hate using the wi-fi in the ps3 to the dsl because it's bad internet connection! Appreciate the help! P.S add me on psn: hairykiller

I have this problem too... Mine is hooked to my pc and can NEVER get an IP I have been working on this for weeks but no luck so i feel your pain and i hope some one will answer this. One think i have found helps some times is reset net setting everytime (works about 1 in 30 times)
