It is probably blocked at the connection from your network to the Internet, so circumventing it will be very difficult at best if the administrator has done it properly. Proxy sites could also be blocked. How much trouble are you willing to get into for ignoring policy and going to sites that management obviously doesn't want you going to? Ignoring a company policy like this could result in anything from a reprimand to being fired for cause (which means no unemployment benefits). Is it really worth it?

dont bother... i have tried every godam thing in the world to get pased it... the only thing that mite remotley work would be a cache page but even then the address has to be exact and thats a waste of time... you get used to it after a wile and there no way around it... unless you can hack brisbane

Here's one persons idea of a proxy. One where he gets to read every keystroke you type. Unfortunately he's not alone out there and many proxies are run by hackers that actually know what they are doing and are quite dangerous.
