I want to study abroad, i'm considering south africa is it expensive?

As an international student, i'm looking for a good College, with an inexpensive tuition fee, maximum may bee $15,000 a year. i know there are several good universities in south africa, like the cape town , and also Johannesburg university. so i would like to know if the tuition fee plus the living expenses are expensive how would you convert a 32000R in dollars, hope you can help. btw i can also speak fluent dutch if that is any help?

I study at Stellenbosch University and my expenses this year was about R40 000 (about $5300). I am living in a student residence and this is the cheapest way to live for students, but you need good grades to get in as there are only a number of places. If you are going to live in a flat, then your living expenses will be higher.

R32 000 is equal to about $4300. I'd say, seeing as you are converting from dollars you will be winning all the way, as the exhange rate now is about $1 to R7.47.

If people are at university then they will be able to speak English, but seeing as you can speak fluent Dutch, this will help you a lot in learning Afrikaans.

sure it's going to be. There are reliable and undesirable places to flow, only like in each city international. What do you prefer to examine? the NMMU isn't the final commonplace qualified college in South Africa and is Port Elizabeth, a secure adequate place, approximately 7 hours force from Cape city. A qualification from the college of Cape city is held in a lots bigger regard than one from NMMU and Stellenbosch college is the final employer for getting to understand in South Africa and approximately 20 minutes from Cape city and doubtless the main secure place in the international for a pupil.
