why is it that yahoo answers is supposed to notify you if a contact asks a question,,,see rest below?

but my notification shows up 1 week later and question is resolved?

    I don't have that checked, I just go to my profile and then click on "my contacts questions and answers" and see them all. Makes it easier that way.
