I've said this before on here and got a lot of thumbs down. But my fibro completely disappeared after taking thyroid. It was really bad and it hurt to use my arms and to walk. It has been known for over a hundred years that fibromyalgia is caused by a low thyroid condition even if your blood tests are normal because the TSH is ridiculously inaccurate!. Fibromyalgia (stiff and aching joints and muscles) was a SYMPTOM of hypothyroidism before the blood tests came out. It was recognised as a CONDITION 5 years after the TSH tests came out!
You need a prescription for thyroid meds and a very sympathetic doctor. If you don't have access to these there are some supplements of thyroid (desiccated extract) that may also work.
Google the symptoms of hypothyroidism and I'll bet you have many of them. Good luck.

I've had it for 20 yrs. You have probably read all the books,so I won't repeat. What helps me is taking a warm bath at night with sea salt and Lavender essential oil mixed in and getting a message. It is usually worse in fall for me. Diet and moderate exercise are important, but don't overdue. If you have a big day planned, plan to take it easy the day before and after to help prevent a flair-up. If you will be traveling over the holidays, stop frequently and walk. I can't write more; hurting and tired.

I have had this for awhile now. Walking helps resting can help but not for a long period of time. Hot baths, hot drinks like tea n hot cocoa. Stretching n i take celebrex which helps with the pain. Almost forgot hot showers too.

I have it too, and I have no idea if there may be whatever that eliminates the anguish. Someone on right here mentioned whatever approximately taking Lyrica and I had requested them how that labored and so they on no account responded me. You would wish to speak on your health care provider approximately Lyrica. Otherwise I bet it is only anguish killers for us and they're best brief lived.
