Kind of Blue or Bitches Brew?

*****'s Brew is an instrumental classic... BUT. You can't NOT go with Kind of Blue. If aliens came down from the sky tomorrow and demanded to know one reason why the human race shouldn't be exterminated, Kind of Blue would save us.

I would take both of them, that not fair to tell me I can't have but one. That 1959 Kind of Blue album a total different time then 1969 when Bitches Brew was released. I first heard Bitches Brew when I was in college in 1972 three years later. My dad turn me on to Kind of Blue in 1962 I was 13 years old, so I can,t pick either one of them. Sorry!

I've listened to Kind of Blue for years now...I put Bitches Brew on, and took it off the platter within the minute. Maybe that's just me. Kind of Blue anyday.

Kind of blue, because it is more diverse, stylistically. I also think that there is more of an emphasis on individual expression in Kind of Blue that the b*tches brew does not have.
