Recharge the camera to the maximum allowable time or install new alkaline batteries.
What you heard inside the camera was caused by the banging and shaking you did to it.
If it still does not work, you know better what to do next time you play soccer. Leave your camera at home and bang your head on the goal post.

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ...
Don't want to get your hopes up too high, but here are some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for about 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try.

Hi. Well theres a few simple things you could do. Take the lens off if you can. there should be a button in the front. but be careful not to break it. Next take the memory card and battery out and blow air or vacuum all possible cracked and crevices on the camera. If that doesn't work try and call a support line or if you have a warranty take it back. I hope i helped. :) good luck

well obviously, banging and shaking is not gonna help at all. that is the worst thing to do with a camera, because if there is something in the camera, shaking and banging will just throw whatever is in the camera around and damage the camera very badly. i would take it to best buy, they usually know what to do
