LOL...Well,when I first saw the question I'm like WHAT IS SHE THINKING?! LOL

Now I see your mixed though,but.... I still think that's a bit of a long time there,my concern would be a severe clogging of your scalp/pores/ect....I don't know ethnic hair *extremely* well, but I do know hair and scalp health pretty well, and I don't know if you really want to go that long,I'd think it over hun,I don't want to see your scalp or your natural hair growth suffer because of this, that would be my thoughts on it:-)

im going to be honest and say that that is a terriable idea. I mean some peoples hair can last a while without washing but after 4 weeks anyones hair would be really gross. If you do that your hair is going to be all matted down with oil and it will be very bad looking i said to do that atleast just a couple days or it will be gross.

Hydrogen peroxide is is greater unfavorable interior the long-term, yet it particularly isn't the only component of that answer besides. while you're bleaching you are able to not additionally be using a bottle, particularly a bowl and brush. bypass to the sweetness keep and purchase an envelope of powder bleach and a bottle of ten or twenty volume developer. 10 will raise greater slowly, although that is much less unfavorable. heavily, do not use peroxide.

I think if you're going to go without washing it you're main fight should be the oily-ness and smell that you're going to be accumulating. I'd suggest a dry shampoo like this one: http://www.sallybeauty.com/Dry-Shampoo/SBS-381228,...

If you can't find this, or there's not a Sally's Beauty Supply store then baby powder works to absorb the oil.

When my hair gets weighed down with too much oil I find that touching it becomes painful (at the root).

I don't know! I guess it really depends on your hair type. It's worth a shot, and if your hair is clearly getting oily or gross, then you can always wash it. I know for me that would never work; my hair is fairly thin, and it gets pretty grody if it isn't washed daily.

Actually, I just posted here to say that Stormy's advice is really offensive! "Ethnic" hair? What is THAT supposed to mean?

    Lol, good luck, though!

why not give it a try.

Just brush it regularly so the scalp doesn't build up with flaked skin.

And try sprinkling talc through your hair and brushing it out to pick up the sweat and oils.

If it smells or itches, well you decide. LOL

i dont think its too bad. my sister does it a lot. Try not to use too much product in you hair though. after a while hair is known to "clean" itself. of you hair is oily and get gross smelling after a few days, i suggest you dont.

BAD IDEA. think about how greasy your hair will be.

why dont you just get in permanently, chemically straightened?

better than not washing it for four weeks.

not a good idea because you tend to sweat a lot (all people do) and well it will smell pretty bad
