french - what does mdr mean?

i feel kind of stupid not being able to figure it out, i know it has to be short for something, kind of how svp means s'il vous plaît, so.... que veut dire "mdr" ??

Update:

ah okay... mort de rire, yeah i probably never would have figured that out.... mdr! i have seen french people say lol before, but ive seen mdr so much more often... knew it had to be something simple, lol, thanks!

Mdr=Mort De Rire=lol I don't know what vaudois means. Edit : S'il avait dû le faire : if he had to do it. Même s'il pense être à nouveau sur pieds pour les Jeux olympiques : Even if he thinks he'll be back on his feet (meaning that he got better) for the Olympic Games.
