She is just using you as a sounding board.

But what you can offer to do, is go over and babysit her children, while she does clean up more. Or you can offer to help her clean up .

Also tell your friend, if she wants a happy hubby when he comes home grumpy, to "smile" at him, and give him a "kiss" and ask him, "how his day went" and always, be of cheerful heart. I bet she sees a change in him, and he might not always notice, a few things not cleaned. Also a plate of chocolate chip cookies, always makes a man smile ...and makes his day better!

Your best bet is just to offer her advice and stay out of it as much as you can. I know it's hard when you care about her, but I don't want to see him get angry with you for getting involved too much. Worst case scenario in that situation is for him to tell her she can't see you anymore. :-(

If he's telling her the things that aren't getting done, I suppose that those are the things that are upsetting him. It's impossible to keep all aspects of the house clean at the same time, especially with such young children. So maybe if she weren't to focus too much on cleaning the stove when he wants to floor swept a bit more intensely (just an example), then maybe she can keep him happy without working any harder. He should tell her exactly what he'd like to see and then work within that as much as she can. Marriage is never easy.

I have an 18 month old and am 6 months pregnant and it is a huge job. Having said that she picked him to be her husband and she continues to stay and put up with it so you should keep your mouth shut and mind your own, and you'll live long.

sounds like he brings his stress home from work she needs to change things up when he gets home and try to make the house more happy when he gets home she has probably gotten into the grove of same old thing and so when he walks in he just stays in the grumpy mood.

She should go back to work as soon as possible, as long as she's home he's going to treat her like a bad employee.

When a woman complains to you about her relationship just let it go in one ear and out the other, because when you leave she will be on her back or on top.

He is a control freak, which will destroy her self belief and confidence, then when it is destroyed he has complete power over her and will then start saying she is not the person he married.

seems like her husband is taking her for granted. she should ask her husband to shut up, or ask him to do it himself!
