Is antarctica or mexico closer to the Earth's poles ?

and why is that one closer ?

    Antarctica, Mexico lies more near to the equator.

    This is a trick question even if it is not meant to be.

    1. South Pole.. The south pole is IN antarctica so that means Antarctica is as close as you can get.

    2. North Pole.. Mexico, being near the equator is closer to the north pole than Antarctica..
