as long as you washed your hands thorougly, cleaned your ear and used a clean and sterile needle it should be fine, if not you could end up with an infection, depending on your immune system and how your body takes to piercings. I have a certificate in ear piercing so i know what im talking about. good luck and i hope it heals well. dont forget, dont take it out for 6 weeks, turn the earing twice daily, cleaning with warm salty water does wonders, and in the shower, after you wash you hair, turn the earing to get rid of any shampoo and conditioner.

As long as everything was sanitary, everything should be ok. But that was really dumb, you should've gone to a professional. Go buy some ear piercing solution from Wal-Mart or Claire's and clean it twice a day with that. Turn them occaisonally, so they won't get stuck. Don't touch them unless your hands are clean.

I think it'll be okay.Just as long as you put rubbing alcohol on the needle before you used it.Just make sure you clean your ear everyday with alcohol and peroxide to keep it from getting infected.

hopefully you cleaned your needle. if you drench a q-tip in hydrogen peroxide and just hold it on the whole (with the earing still in) you might see/hear bubbles... that means its infected. just keep holding it and change the q-tip. do this several times a day. you'll be fine

no need to go to a pro. they'll just be doing the same procedure you did, the only difference is that they use non-conventional tools and charge you.
