Yes, but that's physically impossible, having the government bail everyone out all the time would cause a catastrophic financial collapse of apocalyptic proportions, in which case, there's a consequence, so a consequence free society is impossible, it would be nice though.

You think that making healthcare more accessible to people and expanding welfare programs in a time like this is delivering a consequence free society? That seems a little off field in my opinion.

The government never really bailed out people for their poor decisions. They gave bailouts to corporate executives who made even worse decisions. We should be more focussed on trying to help people out of their mortgage situations, giving them extra freedom with lower refinancing. Those loans that they have borrowed from taxpayers should benefit taxpayers --- not the other way around
