How do i select a best answer?!?

Wait four hours after you post your question, click your avatar, this will bring you to your profile page.

scroll down to your "my questions":::::click that and your questions come up, click the one you want... . There will be a blue bar under each answer you got that says choose as best answer...... Click on that blue button if you want to choose that answer as best answer, a new page comes up

....Then you rate it 1-5 stars and write a comment in the space provided.. Click OK and it's Done..... You receive 3 points for choosing and the best answer gets 10 points and 1 extra for each thumbs up to a total of 50, don't forget to give that answer a thumbs up (you can start giving thumbs up and down on level 2). ::::::::::A question goes to voting if you have not chosen a best answer after 4 days....Then you can vote for best answer and receive one point but there is no guarantee that the one you think is best will be chosen as the answer with the most votes will get best answer.... You can also vote no best answer (no points given) and if that is the question with the most votes it is removed and the posters 5 points are returned.....Any level can choose best answer for a question they have asked and any level can vote on any questions in voting.

All you have to do to choose a Best Answer is:-

You must wait for a minimum of four hours or more.

Click onto your question.

Read through each answer and decide which one is the best answer.

Once you have chosen your Best Answer, click the blue button underneath the answer "Choose as Best Answer".

Rate the answer by the number of stars.

Comment on the answer if you want to.

Click OK

CHOOSING BEST ANSWER

For your own questions:

Once your question has been posted for at least 4 hours, you will see the blue "Choose as Best Answer" button by each answer. After 4 hours have elapsed, just go to your question, then to the answer you want to choose, and click on that button, and follow the steps. If you haven't gotten the answer you need, you can give it a few more days just in case you get more answers, and one that might be better. You can ONLY do this BEFORE time runs out, and your question is still open for answers. If not, your question goes to voting for the community (other Y!A users) to vote for Best Answer. Once that happens, any answer can get the votes.

Voting for Best Answer for Undecided Questions (Other members' questions):

Go to any category or sub-category and click on the "Vote Undecided questions" tab. Then click on questions to vote, look over the answers and click "Vote as Best Answer". Your vote will be counted, but the answer you voted for won't necessarily get the most votes. Do not allow your own questions to go to voting as you will be no control over which answer gets the most Best Answer votes.

Ok do this. Wait 4-5 hours then go back to the question. There should be a large blue 'answer this question' button under each answer.Choose the "best answer" then choose number of stars and write a quick comment.

Your question has to be posted for at least four hours. After four hours go back to your question by clicking on your avatar, scroll down and you will see a tab that say "My Questions", find your question in the list. Click on the blue "Choose As Best Answer" button" under the answer you think is best, On the page that comes up you can rate the answer and enter feedback. I hope I helped. =)

You have to wait 4 hours after asking the question and then after 4 hours go to your question and under each each answer, there will be a little blue button that says "Choose As Best Answer" and just click the answer you think is best.

Go back to the question a minimum of four hours after asking your question, click the best answer button below the answer you choose then follow the prompts to rate and comment.

after about 24 hours of posting the question you will see a "choose as best answer" in the answers under their names. Click that and that's how. Hope it helps.

3rd, i click on the blue choose as best answer bar when i find my favorite answer!

4th, i rate, comment and/or reply, then i click OK!

its gonna take awhile but just wait ti'll you see this big blue button underneath all the answers that says"choose as best answer"
