Owen Nolan to the Sharks?
Wouldn't that be a solid trade for the Sharks, but who would they have to give up?
Also is Douglas Murray becoming one of the most feared players in hockey?, he's a wrecking machine out on the ice and is rarely challenged only 14 pim.

They would have to give up too much for Nolan. It wouldn't be worth it. If they desperately wanted to trade someone go get someone on the younger side.
Douglas Murray is one tough guy, I agree. Sadly his name isn't often mentioned in the list of tougher guys.

It would be nice to see Nolan in a Sharks sweater again, though I don't think it will happen. Maybe if Minnesota tanks, horribly this year, but the two things that are prohibitive are what the Sharks would have to give up to get him and whether or not they can afford to take on the salary. Nolan is on the books for $2.7 million. Be a nice guy to have for the playoffs though as a third line guy.
Murray is a beast. I love it when guys on the other team try to line him up to finish a check and he plants them. He's been solid this year playing with Boyle on the top D pairing too. Very underrated, in my opinion. I bet he makes the Swedish Olympic team as well.

I like Nolan but I think his skills are not what they used to be (although he had a good year last season)... the best thing about Nolan is his leadership and the Sharks don't need another leader, they are already packed with leadership. I think they'd be giving up too much for Nolan. What isn't broke doesn't need fixing.
