why is my house warm all the time?

my house is always warm even though i have the thermistor turned down. i haven't even put the plastic on the windows yet. i live in minnesota.

    You must have turned from 90 to 80. You didn't say what you have it turned down to.

    Wow- ain't that a good problem to have. My heating bill is driving me crazy. Have you weatherized your house?
