By definition the Moon does have an atmosphere, however it is extremely thin - practically negligible.

No. The moon is pretty much completely devoid of anything that can be called an atmosphere. There are possibly some very fine silicate particles suspended above the surface, which can act sort of like a very thin atmosphere, but technically, it is a complete vacuum on the Moon's surface.

The atmosphere of the Moon is very tenuous and insignificant in comparison with that of the Earth n also One source of the lunar atmosphere is outgassing. so at the end the moon doesn't have an atmosphere!
