    I've been trying to get free ones too.

    I heard craigslist you can get them.

    go to your region's craigslist

    [SOMEWHERE.craigslist.org/car]

    and in the search bar type CARFAX

    someone will have it for $2-3

    Nope, you cannot get a free carfax report anywhere. You will need to pay for it.

    I suggest you get cheap carfax alternatives. You can get a $4.99 alternative here
