What pointe shoe is most like the Capezio Pavlowa?

I like the tapered box, but it also has a pretty strong shank. They stopped selling these a couple years ago and I can't find anything that I like as much as them. But they crumpled in the box area for me pretty fast, so I need a stronger metatarsal in my shoe, as well.

Some styles of Russian Pointe shoes are like that. Tapered box, hard shank. I would go to a dance store and ask for Russian pointe shoes!! They are awesome!! :)

    Hope I helped! ♥

    P.S. answer my question! :)

it depends mostly on how strong your feet are and how much you dance. i used capezio glisses for the past few years and personally loved them (they fit perfectly and look amazing). many of the dancers i know use glisses for this reason. however, i had pretty strong feet, so they would last me maybe 2 monthes before they got soft right at the tip of the box- not any other part of the shoe besides the shank which i broke in how i wanted it from the beginning and just kept it like that. they lasted 2 weeks-1 month at summer intensives. so, no, not very durable. although, you can prolong their life by really airing them out and sometimes you can use jet glue to harden the inside of the box (works about 3-4 times)...
