Manny Pacquiao officially the greatest boxer of all time in terms of achievements?

The names of Sugar Ray Robinson,Willie Pep,Rocky Marciano,Joe Louis,Roberto Duran and tons of other legends will always inspire me and i will always have respect for them but facts are facts guys and as you know i am a big fan of numbers and %!

All i know is that manny started from 106 lbs and conquered the world in 7 different divisions,no other boxer can ever claim such a thing and i think it's once in a lifetime record,it won't break any time soon,it's like Ussain Bolt's records in 100 and 200 m or Phelps 8 golds in one single Olympics, records like these do not break every day!

Flyweight.

Junior featherweight.

Featherweight.

Junior lightweight.

Lightweight.

Junior welterweight.

Welterweight

Comparisons with very good boxers of our generation who are good no doubt like Mayweather,Cotto,Calzaghe, Juan Marquez,Oscar De La Hoya,Klitschkos just to name fiew ,there is no doubt they all will leave a great legacy and are great boxers but they are just ordinary boxers, none is in the "mythical" size of Manny!

I think in my humble 100% personal opinion Manny can be compared for now with only 5-10 boxers as Robinson,Armstrong,Duran,Marciano,Pep and few others specially him being compared with someone who ADMITTED USING STEROIDS or someone WHO HAS DUCK 50% of boxers in his era is a blasphemy to BOXING not just Manny!

Thoughts?

Update:

Well i am still excited from what i saw last night that is why i had to make a personal tribute to the great alive boxer in the planet!

You can post your personal opinion or thought man, this is just my thought!

The magnitude of Pacquaio's achievements is collosal and his 4 lineal titles and 7 titles in 7 weight divisions are both a record. Him jumping 11 weight classes is also a world record.

He is certainly in the conversation as top 5 best boxers ever. His destruction of previous opponents was just remarkable.

hey Knight, have you noticed previously that it is the Mayweather fans making the excuses for Cotto and not really Cotto fans. Cotto and Puerto Rican fans have been rather decent here and many posted congratulation remarks. I havent seen a single Puerto Rican answer, and believe me my friend I should know as I have been answering hundreds of questions in the last 48 hours or so, that criticize Pacquiao, slander him, or discredit him. They arent making any excuses, it is, as always, the Mayweather fans.

Yep, because he beats quality opposition in devastating fashion. All you can ask of a champion is to fight the best out there, and Manny has done that, and done it better than anyone active today. Pacquiao is without a doubt a great boxer.

A great boxer and a marvellous achievement. An interesting fact though is that between 108 lbs and 147 lbs are 7 different weight divisions whereas between168 lb and 200lb are only 3 divisions. So regards achievement the seven titles is only similar to a light heavyweight world champion like Michael Spinks becoming a heavyweight world champion. He has fought the very best in the world to achieve his feat and is undoubtedly one of the very best of all time boxers

Manny Pacquiao is amazing in every way in the ring, he swings from his pockets with lightning fast speed and deadly accuracy and can hit you from almost any angle. As you stated clearly he conquered 7 weight classes and whipped everybody in his path. He is the P4P best at the moment not Mayweather who only fights for money not the love of his country or the sport. Manny is humble, very dedicated to his family and his country and I could not love a boxer any more than I do Manny, he is awesome! I say yes, he is one of the G.O.A.T!!!!

Easiest question of all time! YES!

Add to this that the greatest billiards player of all time, Efren "Bata" Reyes is also Filipino, well a lot to be proud of!

    Manny Pacquiao.

World Champion in SEVEN WEIGHT DIVISIONS.

He brings honor to us Filipinos.

How can he possibly be beaten this time?

Pacquiao is one of the greatest of all time no doubt, and he's certainly better (with arguably the exception of Mayweather) than the 2nd group of guys you named, but he's not top 5-10 yet.

True, no other fighter has won 7 different divisions but there were less divisions before. I hope Mayweather does the right thing and help Pac cement his legacy.
