if you install a game it wont affect the disc right?

i installed sims2 and now my friend wants the disc to install in on her comp. all the things i did on the game arent on the disc rite? i already created a lot of families but my friend wants to start the game new

    nah, all your stuff are saved into "my documents"

    Yes, the disc won't be changed, but if you want to put it on another computer, you'll need another code (Usually found on the back of the manual). Good luck!~

    you just copying the stuff from the disc so it wont be affected :)
