what should i wear to work experience at a residential home?

im 18 go college and tomorrow i have to do my work experience in a residential home and its my First day so i dunno what to wear i was thinking of wearing like a dark blue shirts and a cardigan over it and blue jeans and converse Cos i dnt like wearing flat shoes.wat do you think?thank you

    Unless you have been told otherwise. wear what you are comfortable in.What you describe seems ok.Don't wear your best clothes as they may get slightly soiled. Remember you will probably be on your feet most of the day so you will be better off in flat shoes or only a very low heel.

    As the Home is open 24 hours why don't you ring them and check?

    when i went for my works experience we were told to wear soes even pumps but not sandals, tops with a big logo and black trousers. yeah our school was pretty boring:(

    i work in a nursing home, i had to wear black trousers (old ones) and a white or black top. black shoes. some ppl wear black trainers. good luck.
