Putting a tramoline on concrete?

I bought a 10 foot trampoline for my niece for Christmas. They only have concrete in their garden so I'm worried about her safety and the safety of other children that might go on it. Of course I got a safety net for it, but is this enough?. Is there a possibility that it could move when the kids are on it and topple over or something like that?

I'm considering getting mats to go underneath it in case someone was to get take a spill, is this a good idea?

Also roughly how long will it take for us to put it together?

Thanks in advance.

I agree with the other post and on top of that, eventually the fabric will probably fail (ours did) and then they will slip through on that side and hit whatever is under it.

I don't think I would put it up on concrete even with the net and mats under it. When kids get to bouncing up and down you know somewhere down the line one of them will end up hitting the concrete and get hurt really bad or maybe worse. It will be a law suit waiting to happen for the parents of your niece. I do believe I would return it and get your money back, unless the parents could someway remove some of the concrete to make a place where they could at least put some sand under the net and mats.

Never place a trampoline on concrete. Kids can break arms and legs and fracture skulls even if it is on grass and they fall off.... this is why you don't see kids playgrounds on concrete and tarmac, any more. Get your money back.
