why do my cory cats all die off?

It;s a 20 gallon tank and all my other fish are doing great and I haven't lost one and have kept other fish before. Nitrates are kept under 20 with weekly water changes, the tank is cycled, free of toxins, with plants and a cave and I feed them sinking catfish pellets. 4 down in one month and one more left. The only fish in the tank are a school of head tail light tetras and 3 sparkling gouramis, none of which seem to give them any issue.

Before they die they become pale and listless and then just fall to their side and die. This isn't an easy one because I know things are good in the tank, so if anyone knows cory cats well I'd love to hear from you. I'm swearing them off for now but really would like them in this tank.

Do you see them eating the pellets? One problem may be from starvation if they don't like eating the pellets.

Other than that, are you getting them all from the same source? They may have been diseased before you purchased them.

    Good luck
