Do you think my co-worker should honor the bet?

During the week a co-worker wanted me to drop M. Colston from New Orleans and add M. Austin from Dallas. I made a bet with him that if Colston (N.O.) had more total yards than Austin (Dallas)did, that he would have to buy me lunch. Well, it turns out that Colston DID do better than Austin. Colston (1 rushing attempt for 6 yards, 2 receptions for 17 yards) Austin (4 receptions for 20 yards). Grant it, it's not alot of yards, but Colston still had more TOTAL yards than Austin. Do you think the co-worker should honor his bet?

    Is this a trick question?

If you made a bet on total yards, then you won the bet. Why shouldn't we think he should honor the bet? By definition, bets should be honored.

Gotta follow through with the consequences of every bet that you agree upon. Just be sure it was "total yards" and not "receiving yards"

If that was the bet, yes. But I certainly wouldn't make a big deal of it.

Of course, a bet is a bet, no matter how big or small
