Why are there so many extremes when it comes to politcal parties?

Personally, I see almost NO difference anymore, except for "ego's" and personal self serving interests. What I do see is a "division" in this country, unlike any since 'Nam circa 1969. It's really no longer "parties"..it's conservatives and liberals who are engaging, with extremes from both.

Doesn't that fence chaff your behind? Seriously. It's a difference in opinion of what is important. The left sees wealth redistribution as more important then a strong competitive economy. They are willing to drag us down to do this. Conservatives see the best way to keep the most people feed and clothed and EMPLOYED is to have a strong economy that is encouraged by low taxes and reduced regulations. These ideas are diametrically opposed to each other. Thus the bickering.

If we as Americans.. we are still I think regardless right or left. If we continue to fight each other and be distracted by it they are free to not read a damn thing they pass and do as they please. Why if the the politicians are for the little guy and against the evil big business they why are they all millionairess .... When the people fear the Gov. there is tyranny

Hardcore conservative, why? I like small government, they make too much money anyway. I like my rights just the way the founding fathers wrote them. I love the military and did my time just like my whole family. If you don't love it enough to defend it, you don't belong here. I love God and for some reason, he still loves us. I pull my weight and expect all of the minorities to pull theirs as well. Speaking of minorities, we have some here illegally which makes them part of another group we call criminals so they should be picked up and introduced to their new sub culture, the prisoner. Nuff said.

Well since the republican party has gone ultra conservative and reflect the views of looney nut bible thumpers, it is only fair the democratic party adhere to the utlra liberals for counter attack

Agreed. The conservatives have really out done themselves (lately.) Liberals have no choice but to keep progressing
