my teenager is refusing to talk ? any ideas?

    Have you had an argument? Has she had something at school with friends/boyfriend? Don't act like you're 'interfering' this will inflame her even more. Maybe write a little note or email, something like, "Honey, I know you don't want to talk right now but if there's anything wrong, I'm here for you." Don't try to get it out of her because this will only make it worse. If she has a real problem, she'll talk to you. Leave the air for a bit, she might just be a little frustrated right now. Unless, you have GENUINE concern for worry, don't take any major action.

    Unless it's interfering with someone safety, you may consider riding it out.

    It's mot likely another power struggle between the two of you, and the best you can do is find ways to de-fuse the issue.

    Therapy, of course.

    Hardest part of parenting... TEENS!!! they will most deff. rebel and they will not want to talk to you. just keep telling your teen that you are there for them for whatever they need and tell them how much you care and love them... thats all you can do hun! good luck
