Dragon Age Origins Human Noble?

I had a bug where the door through the main hall would not unlock. I saved it, turned it off, turned it back on etc and nothing would fix it short of restarting the whole thing with a new character. It sucks but it was the only way I'm afraid.

Human Noble Origin

You just have to make it back to the kitchen. Go through the main hall. (where your father was initially) and go out the right hand door. You can get make it to the larder. Use your map if need be.

Edit: Make sure you talk to the people in the main hall, that maybe needed. If still not working, start over you aren't far in.

DON'T- i repeat DON'T forget to visit the family treasury so you get the cousland sword and shield of hiehgever,

its not great equipment later in the game- but for early on its a great longsword that gives you +1 damage and +4 attack and can be used by pretty much anyone with any starting str, if you have str 20 you can also use the cousland shield (+4 attack) too.

i hope you didn't forget to sleep with one of the women, iona or darren- (lets face it, that dudes a chick in disguise)
