It would have to be a team that is willing to let him start and play 30+ minutes per game. They must also be willing to make him a focal point of the offense and allow him to freelance as he sees fit. Therefore it won't be any team with even a glimmer of hope at the playoffs. Iverson has made it perfectly clear he is only concerned with himself and protecting his fragile ego. He doesn't care about doing what is best for his team or mentoring the younger players. Maybe he can go to the Bobcats, since they seem to be accepting problem athletes and are in dire need of players that can put the ball through the hoop. If an actual contender shows any interest in him I will be floored and more shocked than I was last night when the Pats went for it on 4th and 2. At this point Iverson's only function is to sell tickets to fill up the stands. I guess the Warriors would make a likely destination based on Iverson's lack of size and defense. Or maybe the Knicks since they can drop him after this season, and try and sign a player that can actually help them win in 2010.

I never thought Iverson was a player you should build a team around, but I always had respect for his skills. At this point I have very little, if any, respect for this guy. He should just retire and stop tarnishing what is left of his reputation.

He isn't gonna be a problem child to anyone. He can still play basketball effectively if he is on the right team. He hasn't declined that much to the point where he NEEDS to come of the bench as a role player. People are going off what they saw in detroit as a decline. Well he was put in a position that was not good for him. They traded Billups the point guard for him, and Iverson is not one that runs a team, plus Billups was the glue. The detroit thing wasn't his fault and also he hasn't been healthy past year and just 2 years back he put up 26ppg. So to say he can't make a difference is plain silly. Depending on what type of team he goes to he can contribute.

the two communities benefited from those trades with the aid of fact the two trades necessary distinctive desires at this "PG" place. of direction although Iverson is seen PG, he shoots rather a lot, and the evidence there is the certainty that he's at the instant severe on the completed factors record of all time. Billups can create performs for his teammates which helps team that has a reliable quantity of skills around them. while Detroit had a dominant Ben Wallace Chauncy replaced into waiting to make reliable performs to help the Pistons score. of direction if Billups should be the scorer himself, he does not be waiting to try this as affectively, mutually as AI doesnt recommendations taking the ball into his very own arms. provided that the Nuggets have some reliable skills with adult males like Melo, Nene and Martin it replaced into def. constructive in direction of the Nuggets to get this playmaker. AI replaced into too a lot for himself and he wouldnt have lasted a lot longer on the Nuggets. The Pistons on the different hand would have lived with Billups, in assessment to the Nuggets who had to chuck Iverson. thinking those aspects the commerce leans slightly interior the desire of the Nuggets, yet the two communities are doing extra constructive than they could have if the commerce had not been processed.

Most people think signing him will be a big mistake. This is NBA, where amazing happens. I'm not a big fan of Iverson nor Iverson hater. But, whoever sign him is a lucky team. Because at this point, he will try to prove the world that they wrong. He will try the best he could, more than he ever done in his career.

Take my word. I know that will happen.

Someone just have to wake up and realize this opportunity.

The Clippers were the other team looking to sign him in the offseason so maybe them. But after his brief stay in Memphis, maybe they'll be scared to sign him now.

Iverson could always go play in the Euro league or some other league where he can be a starter for the rest of his career or he can just retire and spend time with his family.

Right now i dont think anybody would pick up iverson. If he got the role of a assist guy more than a scorer and stick to being a point guard than maybe he can be very valuable to the league.

    probably the Charlotte Bobcats.

They just got another malcontent Stephen Jackson. Why not get Iverson and re-unite him with Larry Brown.

No team is stupid enough to pick him up!!! Except maybe the Nets - they're extremely desperate.
