Is it possible to run my BFG tech 9800 gt oc graphics card on a 300 watt power supply? What will happen?

    One of two things might happen:

    1.) Your video card won't even work because there isn't enough juice

    2.) Your PSU will overload itself trying to run the card and will short out, melt or catch fire. Either way it's a serious risk to your hardware.

    Bottom line: BFG recommends a 400W PSU and 400 watters are NOT expensive. It is not worth trying this, especially with an overclocked card like a BFG.
