Will health-care reform pass, and how?
For a moment, look at this like a football game, and give me your play-by-play prediction, regardless of what you want to happen:
How will the Senate bill be different than the house bill?
Will a public option be included?
How about that abortion clause?
Will there be a filibuster?
Will the Democrats engage reconciliation?
Will it finally pass, and when?

Absolutely, it will.
My guess is that will will not include abortion but will include the public option.
A filibuster will be avoided because the Dems ultimately realize that they'll never come this close for a long time if they fail to pass it, and it's not as if Republicans will vote for the Democratic candidates that vote against it.
I believe that it will pass the Senate before Christmas, but that reconciliation and the final passage of the bill by both the House and Senate, and the signing of the bill into law will take place in the first quarter of 2010.

I hope what's in the 2000 pages now, will not pass.
If there is a healthcare plan that passes, I hope the Republicans
will toss out all 2000 pages and start over. If it costs Trillions,
then there should be NO plan. I've seen things in the presently
passed bill of Pelosi's that make me shudder. It certainly is
NOT an improvement over healthcare today. It still will not
cover everyone (why not?). Government needs to butt out
of taking over healthcare. Medicare, Medicaid, and Social
Security is already going broke. We now owe China 1.3 Trillion
(just got the word on tv), plus power. The US is living way
beyond their means, and someone has to step up to the plate
and stop this ongoing traversity.

Senate will pass a watered down bill.
It will be merged with a good public option
It will pass both the house and the senate
Will be done this year
Obama will sign it, then everyone will blame him for anything regarding health care.

The Public Option will be the end of the democrat party.
obama and friends could pass any version of healthcare they want, without one single Republican vote.
obama knows his presidency is riding on obamacare, if it fails he fails.
So eventually some watered down version of obamacare will pass but it will not resemble what we have now, and it will be full of pork to buy democrat votes with stimulus money, just so obama can say he succeeded.
Now here is a taste of how obama will lower healthcare costs.

To Nurse Nancy and her gang it is no longer about the health care bill. She is determined to get one passed even if it means the destruction of the entire democratic party. The woman is nuts.

surely it truly isn't approximately Healthcare it truly is approximately coverage Reform. i think of it is going to bypass. i'm hoping it does not yet from what I surely have considered the present Congress and administration are going to bypass it come hook or criminal inspite of what "WE the individuals" desire.

If you are a religious person, get down on your knees and pray that Health Care FAILS.
If you are not a religious person, still better get down on your knees and pray that Health Care FAILS.
If you don't believe in praying, do ANYTHING you can to cause it to FAIL.
Our kids and grand-kids are depending on us to STOP ObamaCare.
