question about Ipod Touch 8gb?
so im thinking about getting the 8gb for christmas (please dont say anything about the higher gbs, thats the only one i can get). what are some GOOD and BAD things about it?????
my friend has one, and i use his all the time

I have the 16GB and it's nice. I'll list the pro's and cons so its easy to see
Pro's:
Wireless internet
Tons of free apps
Nice large screen
Touch screen works well
Cons:
Short battery life if you use apps or games/web browsing
My screen scratched and I was really careful not to
iTunes software can be really glitchy sometimes
I've never had mine freeze on me, so I don't think it is that common of a problem. Even if it does you can reset it. People say the screen doesn't scratch, but I really baby all of my electronics and mine scratched, so I don't know if that is true or not. I would recommend buying one, but I borrow a friends to try it out first before making your purchase. I am happy with it, and I will buy a bigger one when this one gets old.

An ipod touch is a nice choice. Everything it has is cool especially the app store (there are good free apps) and i think the 8gb version is more than enough. The only thing I suggest you is to buy a case for it because its very slippery making it vulnerable to being dropped ( i already dropped mine). Its a lot cheaper to buy yourself a case in the beginning instead of having to buy yourself a new ipod in the end. Hope this helps.

Well I have the 8gb, and it sucks everyone I know who has it there's suck to. It freezes up, it dies fast. And when it freezes it stays like that for days and sometimes it never does unfreeze I even had geek squad look at mine and they couldn't fix it so I just had to get a new ipod. I got the chromatic and it works great and its cheaper!

Well, I own a ipod touch 8GB. It's great and it can hold heaps of apps, but the only bad thing about it is it cannot hold all my songs (900).

well personally i have one, and theres nothing bad about it unless your gona get the first gen which has no external speaker and volume switch. if your getting the 2nd gen, then no need to worry! i have one and i love it. maybe if your a big video person i could see how it would make you angry that you cant have lots and lots of vids, but dont get me wrong, you can still have several vids.
