iPod Touch problem?
The last couple of days my iPod Touch has been acting pretty odd. It will turn itself up to the maximum volume, I'll try and put it back to normal yet it just won't go down, it'll keep turning itself up.
Also, when I press the up button for my volume, it will do what the Hold button usually does and turn to the black screen.
Sometimes It won't let me press Hold, and the "Slide to Power Off" button will randomly appear.
Anyone know what the problem is/how to fix it?

My Ipod touch does this quite regularly too... I have been given mine a three hundred and sixty 5 days in the past... the best element to do is each time that occurs, restart the Ipod via protecting down the on/off button for some seconds and slide it to teach off then turn it lower back on.

To turn on
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
To turn completely off
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. When iPhone is off, incoming calls go straight to voicemail.
If you can't turn off iPhone or iPod touch
You may need to reset. Note: Only reset your iPhone or iPod touch if it is no longer responding.
To reset
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

The buttons are messed up, go to a Mac store, go to the repair center, and tell them about the problem. They will most likely fix it because of the special warranty unless it is jailbroken, over (i think 2 or 5 years) old, or you have already had it repaired.
(P.S. the warranty doesn't cover the glass if it breaks, no matter what.)
Source(s): I actually read the warranty, wierd right? I was very, very bored. - AW2Lv 41 decade ago
Do you have a mac? My ipod had troubles and my friend plugged it into his macbook and a program popped up and said how to fix it. There was a problem app. Maybe if you erase all the apps? dont quote me on that fixing it though, and you loose the apps. But just reload them one at a time and see if it starts up or stops.

press the hold button and the home button until the apple appears. that will restart your ipod. if that doesn't work, go to itunes, plug in your ipod, and reset it. that will make your ipod like it was when you first got it (unless of course your ipod is truly screwed up...)

I had a similar problem.
What you have to do is gently place it on a flat surface being careful not to scratch or damage it, then you simply just run over it with a truck!!!
If that doesnt work you can try setting it on fire, that only has a 70% success rate though.

To fix it you can just restore it...
But make sure you have all of your music, photos, videos, apps, and **** backed up before you do...

Restore the iPod. Do you have it jailbroken?
