    log a = 2

    log b = 3

    Find log[√(a) / b³]

    This requires the use of some log properties. Remember that log(a/b) = log(a) - log(b):

    log(√(a)) - log(b³)

    Now remember the property of log(a^b) = (b)log(a):

    (1/2)log(a) - 3log(b)

    Now just plug in the number:

    (1/2)(2) - (3)(3)

    = 1 - 9

    = -8<===Answer
