I‘m writing a research paper for school and I would like to get your opinion Do we need a new government?
Why or Why not
I already know the answer to this question; God’s Kingdom is the only hope for ALL MANKIND. Mat 6:9; Dan 2:44 (like I had stated this is ONLY FOR MY research paper). I appreciate all comments that are directed towards my question.
Thank you in advance.

God's kingdom still has a government but it has a Monarch as the supreme authority. The bible does teach us that His kingdom is coming but for now we need to be in this world.
Any new, Earthly government will be run by man and mankind will be frail and bound for failure as "the heart of mankind is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked". The government may do what is right in God's eyes but the populace wants what is good in their own eyes. Sin rules their hearts and they want an excuse for their sin. No, in the present age a theocracy won't work.

in response to bonno's answer- government is a essential in the preservation of the people and the same can be said that the government cannot exist without its people.
Now to answer yours, in my opinion, maybe not entirely a new government but definately a complete change in officials. A Democratic republic as worked well for us in the past, but it all depends on the leaders of branches to determine how our government works.
