My son has a Power Wheels 4 wheeler with a 6 volt battery in it. I want to change the battery.?
I was wondering if anyone knows if it can be replaced with a 12volt to make it go faster?

My friend did it, the 4 wheeler ran for about 9 months way faster than normal, but burned out the electric motor

Don't do it. I tmight run for a few seconds but it will burn out very quickly. Just buy another 6 volt one at a car parts store or Walmart.
