If you go only on The Obamunist and his statements,Afghanistan was the true important war, unlike

Iraq, So all of his interest and concern would be on the Afghan Theater, oops what went wrong with

that thinking, Now all of a sudden, we are going to have to rethink our position, our policy's our

mission statement, our true calling, our true meaning, our exit plan that hasn't even been thought

about yet, Our abstract issue factors with NATO. Cigar rolling in Tampa Fl. You people just don't

grasp the true essence of the Obama thinking process. It takes this loser a lot of time, He needs

concensus when going to the bathroom, and you expect him to honor the request of his hand

picked commander over the thoughts of a washed up retired liberal General who is now is phony

ambassador. Give the Obamunist a break. this is a tough one.

Well, if you "checked" last week you would learn that he rejected all options because none of them had a plan to turn it over to an independent Afghan Government. Obama is looking for an end to the Afghan war, and wants any surge to have a purpose.

You will also see that he has raised troops 30,000 this year alone already and Afghanistan troop levels are far and away the highest they've ever been.

Well, last time I checked, winter is looming, in which case, insurgent activity drops considerably. Afghanistan will remain quite passive until late next Spring, so there is little reason to make rash decisions. Further, committing more combat troops is not necessarily a good option at all and certainly other NATO members ought to increase their commitments instead of relying on the US

I missed them asking for help. Some of my buddies currently serving in Afghanistan individually think a troop pull back would be ideal.

Also, they are getting plenty of support and help, it is a discussion about how many of them to put there to get support and help or not.

    OK!

Well people complained Bush took too long to get out of the classroom on 9/11, which only took minutes, then said he rushed into a war....yet its ok for Obama to risk the lives of military men and women for months while being undecisive.

Make the decision right the first time around...not rush into a war and have the next President deal with the clean-up and the economic collapse caused by overspending.

He said he'll make a decision in the upcoming weeks after intense deliberation:

Afghanistan has been on the back burner for years. An additional day or month can't be seen as that big of a difference.

One can't solve a problem by thinking at the same level as what caused the problem. The higher level of thinking takes time. And unlike George W, he wants to avoid another Vietnam and he wants to get an exit strategy.
