What is a name that you hate, but everyone else loves?

For a girl I hate the name Emma. I have no idea why. It just sounds icky to me.

For a boy I hate the name Jason. It sounds like a hillbilly name to me.

I've never met an Emma so I really have no explanation for why I dislike it. I just don't.

For some odd reason I like variations such as Emmie and Emily, though.

I did meet a Jason who was a hillbilly, though. That might explain that one.

I hate the name Lilith, too! I don't want to offend anyone, because this name is really popular, but I also really don't like the name Zoe. Some other names I dislike- Monique or Dominique (anything ending with "ique"), and Michaela. I don't have any reason to dislike these names, they just bug me for some reason. For boys' names, I'm not fond of Carter or Peyton, which seem have become quite popular over the past few years.

I agree with you, Lilith is attrocious. I love James though.

I would have to say Sophia/Sophie (Sophia is the better of the two). I HATE those names, and I don't even know why. For a boy, I hate Gavin, and again I have no idea why! It seems like everyone loves those!

Lilith sounds like a stiltedname. Same with Lillian. That sounds like the evil drunk gym teacher.

Gosh, I'm surprised so many people hate the name Isabella, I think it's a beautiful name! I hate boring names like Helen, Charlotte, Claire, Abigail and Robert - there is no reason for it, but I cannot bear these names! I hate stupid names like Aiden (and anything that rhymes with it!) and surnames as first names (Taylor, Parker, Jackson).

I don't like Lilith either but I like James... I hate really simple names like Bob or Joe or Tom. Lol. I also hate Dylan and Carianne

Lilith is exotic, but a little harsh for my taste, so I see where you're coming from there.

I personally can't stand the boy's name Anthony but from what I've seen its very popular here.

My name IS Jessica - LOL - It was very popular in the 80's that's why there's so many girls with that name.. UGH!
