Who do you think is the best male VOCALIST in country music today?

Not the artist with the most record sales or the most entertaining artist. Just who do you think has the best voice?

Also, who do you think is the best female vocalist and the best vocal group?

Update:

If you think country music sucks, you probably shouldn't answer the question.

Jamey Johnson-His voice can make you FEEL the song, kinda like how Vern Gosdin's would.

Martina McBride-I'm not a big fan of hers, but she does have an amazing voice.

Well most of the country stars I listen to have either passed on or are mostly retired. Of my living, actively touring/recording artists I think it's a tie between Alan Jackson and George Strait. As for the best female vocalist I'd give my vote to...Reba I guess. The best vocal group in my opinion is Whiskey Falls. I love their song, Last Train Runnin'.

  • Male:Toby Keith

    Female:Miranda Lambert or Reba McEntire

Best Vocal Group:Montgomey Gentry or Brooks and Dunn

Great Question! And a tough one to answer.

I think Dierks Bentley has the best male voice. Has some range to it and is downright sexy sounding!

Female, Martina McBride used to have the best voice, but after listening to Carrie's voice on her new CD reach new heights, I think Carrie's voice is the best.

Group? Hmmm...well, Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks are a duo, but Ronnie has an outstanding voice and Kix has a good one too, so I'd give my vote to them.

One of the best voices of today i think is Ronnie Dunn--Female Lee Ann Womack-- Group---Zac Brown Band These are all good but pale when compared some of the old classic artists like George- Vern and Waylon.

Right now I would say Blake Shelton has the best voice. If you ever seen him live you would know what I mean.

As far as females I don't see anyone who can match Carrie Underwoods vocals at the moment.

The Zac Brown band is the best group out there right now as far as mainstream country goes IMO.

Ehh, I'm going to have to say Luke Bryan, James Otto, Billy Currington, and George Strait

Billy Curington, I am in love with his voice.

Martina McBride, don't listen to her much, but she has a good range, and nice presentation.

Mongomery Genry and Sugarland tie for bands.
