UFC Undisputed 2009 - CAF Question - Is it better to create a fighter outright, or play through Career mode?

I'm trying to build the best fighter I can on this game, but I'm not sure how to go about it.

I've played through Career mode several times, but I've never really taken it seriously the way I want to now.

Would I have better luck playing through Career mode and working on my fighter there, or would I get just as far creating a fighter in Create-A-Fighter mode?

I'm guessing I can earn more attribute points for my fighter in Career mode as opposed to Create-A-Fighter mode, but I'm not sure, which is why I'm asking.

Career Mode is the best way to go about making a great fighter. It will allow you to give your guy more Attributes and Skill Points. It will also allow you to unlock the level moves that the CAF will not.
