Does anyone in the UK know where I can find boots like ugg boots that aren't to expensive and have a hard sole on them? I know river island have some but they are too short and look stupid on me!
I've had a look on the internet but Im having trouble finding ones that arent actual uggs

You could try the Emu brand, which are almost as well-made but a lot cheaper http://www.totallyshoes.co.uk/brands/emu
There are also ones which are made from synthetic materials, and so a lot cheaper, such as these Skechers http://www.iselldiscountskechers.co.uk/skechers/Sk... - they have a rubber sole - I don't know if that qualifies as "hard"? Timberland also do some with a woollen inner and suede outer, and they're going to be a lot more hard-wearing than Uggs - Google "Timberland Boots"
