I think a 13 month year is needed. Who agrees?
I propose a 13 month year. 28 days each plus 1 extra day ( 2 during leap year ). The extra day/days would be holidays not part of the week or month.

There are actually 13 months in a year but mans calender has been made in to 12 months. There should only be 28 days in each month. A few days from each month have been added to decrease the months to 12. There are 13 lunar moons a year. There are also 13 star signs. And you will be paid 13 times a year if you are paid monthly!

I have a better idea that could resolve the problems with calendars and reduce global warming at the same time. Calendars never come out exactly right because a revolution around the sun doesn't come out even in days. There is that approximately 1/4 of a day extra messing up the year. So we should build a huge rocket engine sitting on a push plate with the thrust pointed at the sun. Then we can fire it around noon and push Earth just a little farther from the sun, enough to change our orbit exactly enough to get rid of that 1/4 day so our calendars can be exactly 365 days every year. And being a little farther from the sun would cool the Earth enough to help with some global warming problems too (which is good because a rocket engine big enough to move the Earth would put out some serious exhaust).

It wouldn't surprise me. I had a very unhappy childhood, for a start, followed by a very unhappy marriage. A couple of broken heart episodes, with a few run ins with my parents-in-law (they could be hateful) and my life at the moment is on a very even keel. But yes, occasionally I do cry. I don't cry for paltry reasons though - I don't find tears fix anything. The only movie I ever shed a tear over was Love Story, and that was a million years ago. I hate losing control and as I said, I don't find that the problem gets solved, and I don't feel better after the release of tears. But that's me ...

A year is the length of time that the earth makes one revolution around the sun so, unless we move farther away or closer to the sun, we aren't going to be changing the length of the calendar anytime soon.

Real Rubbish!
The year with 12 months has been arived mathematically, astronomically, spiritually, religiously across different cultures around the world!!
It has a proven scientific basis!
What you suggest has no basis and no logic!

what are you smoking?? 13 month years?? go to mars and you can make it 20 months year if you want. what a stupid idea haha

not I, we already got twelve months and a year takes a long time.
Why would a 13th month be needed?
People would be having difficulties with changing their schedules, calendars, etc.
