Does anyone suffer from RSD and what treatment is your Doctor recommending?
Does anyone have a spinal cord stimulator, what medications work, and has anyone had relief with injections?
Thank you.
Thank you and I am sorry you have to suffer. RSD and RND are two separate things, someone can have "the RSD form of RND" . Rsd is a "Neurological disorder with nerves and does not effect the Vascular System"where as RND is "Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome or Reflex Neurovascular Dystrophy", even physical therapy for RSD is limited to heat and massage, no exercise. I do appreciate your help, I hope you feel better.

I have had RSD/CRPS since the age of 13. I had a spinal cord stimulator implanted at the age of 14. I had a knee surgery and was diagnosed with RSD/CRPS a month after surgery. I'm now 17 and in full remission. I've had the lumbar sympathetic blocks which only provided temporary relief, I was in physical therapy which did help get mobility back into my leg, but it did very little to help the pain. I had 100% pain relief with my spinal cord stimulator, but after 4 revision surgeries my doctors discovered that I had a scarring disorder which kept causing the stimulator to fail. I've been on many different medications and I found that none of them helped me very much. About a year and a half ago I had a low dose keatmine infusion which is an experimental procedure which has put me in full remission. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any other questions. I hope you feel better soon!

i have RND which is the same thing except diagnosed at as a child and the only treatment that works is exercise. no matter how bad the exercise hurts it will not harm you. what happens in rsd is the nerves that control blood vessel constriction are very overly reactive so when you exercise blow flow is forced to increase a great amount easing the symptoms
