    I've never actually debated with one. But my defense (spelled with an s) would be that God is something beyond the reach of explanation and proff and you cannot prove that He does or does not exist. You can't show someone the strength, love, courage, and guidance He gives you.

    To the atheist I exposes that he is also relying on certain assumptions based on his world view and not some archetype of objectivity.
