how could i buy something online from america and get it posted to the uk?

problem is i don't know any1 there

    its quite simple really.. if the website ships overseas then u just work out the currency difference (how much it wld cost in pounds) and then pay it.. they will ship it over and should deal with all the shipping there end

    If the sellers mail to UK, there is no problem. Find out how they want to be paid. If they accept paypal, they get the payment straight away and the paypal system converts the US price into £sterling which will be charged to your credit card. If they don't accept paypal, you can get a US bank draft at your local bank. It will take a week to arrive by mail and several more weeks to clear. Be prepared for high postage costs. Many US sellers charge even more than postage to cover the cost (mileage plus time standing in line at the post office).
