Is anyone NOT getting the H1N1 vaccine?

I finally decided the flu was less of a risk than the vaccine. Do you agree?

I'm not because they manufactured the vaccine too quickly. Besides, how will I build up my own immunity if I get vaccinated? I have no underlying health conditions and I'm not a child or 'young' adult. I'm healthy and in my 30's. I work in the health field and I refuse to get it. It's not a requirement.

it particularly is a decision that no it is straightforward to make for you. Weight the disadvantages against the advantages. you're saying you're healthful, you will stay to tell the tale the flu -- and it particularly is basically the flu. in case you will want to no longer get it, get the vaccination. in spite of the shown fact that it is your decision. basically be sure you haven't any longer any underlying continual situations that would predispose you to flu-appropriate issues.

I'm not because viruses mutate. When you get a flu vaccine you are only protecting yourself from a single strain. There is this preconceived misconception about flu vaccines where people think they stop working after a season when really, they mutate into new strains... H1N1 WILL and IS mutating, so protecting oneself from a single strain is pointless.

yes. they put bad things in the vaccine like mercury that lead to worse health problems later on. if you are a healthy person with no major health problems, it is better to just risk the chance of getting the swine flu and letting it pass.

    no

the vaccine is safer than the flu

trisha the vaccine builds up your immunity.

the vaccine tricks your immune system into thinking that it is being attacked. your immune system responds and fights off the virus that it doesnt know is weakened.

the same biological processes occur when you get sick and when you get the vaccine. the only difference is that the vaccine is harmless and causes no real threat. but the immune system doesnt know that. so it fights it anyways

so the vaccine actually boosts your immune system.
