There can be snow showers during Dec / jan / Feb but these tend to be very short-lived and are clear by late morning.
February tends to have the heaviest snow, perhaps one year in three, when a cold east wind crosses from Europe.

In 2008, just days before Christmas, the A77, linking Ayrshire to Glasgow, was caked at the sides with snow. Don't know if it will occur once again this year, but near the sea doesn't see much snow. Towns such as Ayr, Troon, Saltcoats, Largs(Ayrshire), Greenock and Port Glasgow(Inverclyde) may see less snow than that of Kilmarnock(Ayrshire), Lanark, Uddingston(Lanarkshire) and Paisley(Inverclyde). It also depends by what you mean by Glasgow. Ayrshire, Inverclyde and Lanarkshire are classed as Glasgow or Strathclyde by some.

Despite many people think, Glasgow does get much snow at all, though it lies in the same Latitude as Moscow and northern parts of Canada, Glasgow gets warm gulf stream currents from the atlantic warming the area. And also the city is covered with wester clyde mountains around blocking cold air which brings snow.

Sometimes but probably raining at the same time so it wouldn't lie. Usually snow's good around January/February :-)

It used to but now it's more likely in January or February. Even then it doesn't snow as much as it did 20-30 years ago.
Climate change is real!
