Beyonce or Janet Jackson?

I think both of them are equally humble offstage. Really.

I guess Janet's story is much more inspiring, and she always stayed positive, and inspired other people through her darkest times, and she has been strong throughout all she has been through in and outside of the public eye. But Janet & Beyonce's lives are both very private, which is a good thing. So we can't really say too much.

But it doesn't hurt that Janet upheld Michael (who I love very much) up in his darkest hours. That is always a plus for me.

Musically, of course Janet though, I mean, LOL, that's obvious :)

Listening to Escapade right now.

I have more Janet albums& DVDs than Beyonce, and Janet is the pioneer. She is Beyonce's major influence. & I was really upset when Janet's tour canceled.

Edit- and Janet's songs are more down to earth, and relate able to her fans. Everyone can relate to "Escapade", "Rhythm Nation" or "Love Will Never Do Without You" or "Let's Wait Awhile" or "Together Again", whereas not everyone can relate to "Sweet Dreams" or "Diva" or "Check On It".

Maybe one can relate to "If I Were A Boy" But Beyonce didn't even write that song....

i prefer Janet,because i've loved her longer, but Beyonce's ok. Yeah,i agree with you,though! I think Janet seems more down to earth like her brother,Michael. She's a lot like MJ--- that's why i like her more and i love her music too. I also love some of beyonce's music,but I love the Jacksons!

Janet is a very caring loving and humble person, i love her to bits, michael was so lucky to have a sister like her. Her attitude towards alot of things, were similar to Michael's and she is very caring towards the planet and she has made some good songs in her time and she is a very nice woman, i hope to meet her someday. She is also a fantastic humanitarian :)

Beyonce does give of the diva effect although shes big, i wouldn't think shes up there with whitney and mariah yet. Sometimes fame does get to some people, but she can sing and she knows it, that's why she probably acts more diva-ry :L But i do love her humanitarian work, she has her own charity like thing, that's "help stop the hunger" something like thatt.

I've heard more music from Beyonce, so i prefer Beyonce.
