Starting & stalling problems with a 2001 Mercury Sable LS Premium?
I have a 2001 Mercury Sable LS Premium. 3.0 24Valve V6. First problem started was when the car got hot it would not start until it cooled down. It would crank just not turn over. Or it would turn over but with a very rough idle that took time to come up enough to run fully. Replaced the crank, & cam sensors as well as the fuel filter. Still does it off and on. Now in addition to that problem is in cooler morning weather it will not turn over. Just cranks. Once the weather warms up in the afternoon it starts in the first try. Any ideas?
Not the head gasket.

First make sure the battery is good, then try to start it. If it doesn't crank, check for power to the starter. Inspect the power and ground cables of the starter for corrosion, and make sure the starter has a good ground.
