If we all got together and had a fish fry what would you bring?

I would bring some fresh crappie filets, some sun brewed ice tea and 5 cases of Newcastle beer.

I'd bring the makings for "Blackened Redfish", Coconut fried Shrimp, Conch Fritters, roasted Oysters on the half-shell (ONLY the best Apalachicola oysters too!!), Crawfish Etouffee, Granny's Corn-meal battered Catfish, German Potato salad, REAL Baked Beans with Andouille sausage, Jalapeno Cornbread and Bananas Foster for dessert!!!

(Can you tell I'm originally from Florida? You can take the "Cracker" out of Florida but you can't take the Florida out of the "Cracker"! LOL)

I'd bring some "Sippin' Shine" and 4-5 cases (each) of Summit, Rolling Rock & Leinenkugel Beer.

We'd get drunk and play Horse-shoes. Have a bonfire; local live band playing a mixture of old Country, Classic Rock and Zydeco in the background.

Around 1:30 AM is when we'd crack out the Roasted Oyster's. Make sure to put some fresh fried bacon and Parmesan Cheese on them as they roast.

What do you think your cholesterol count would be after this shin-dig? (LMAO)

Damn it, now you've all gone 'n' done got me hungry!

I would bring a shitload of tilapia fillets, a huge wok to fry them in, a mixture of flour, salt and pepper and cornmeal, some peanut oil to do the cookin', lots and lots of shredded cabbage, cheddar cheese, mayonaise and a few various hot sauce brands (Tapatio, Crystal, Tobasco, Taco Bell, etc.), several packages of corn tortillas (and some flour tortillas for you corn breads) and well make some KILLER fish tacos.

Along with that, I'll bring a half a dozen cases of Heineken beer and a couple cartons of Marlboro Red 100 cigarettes for the smokers (gotta have a good smoke when you're drinkin' a good beer).

Some fresh steelhead fillets destined for the grill, some apple and alder wood smoked salmon, maybe some good northwest shellfish, I make a killer coleslaw (need something vegetable in origin), a couple cases of Budweiser.

Added: Holly Tilappia Grand Master...Thought I was the only one left in the free world that smokes Marb 100's. Sounds like a shin dig to me.

I would bring some Mahi-Mahi steaks, Destin doormat flounder and, if I can make it up to Reds, some Chesapeake Bay clams. Also 2 gallons of homemade Cherry-Berry Sparkling wine and some Sam Adams Porter.

    Good luck and enjoy!
